I first met this fine duo when they appeared with me and Aidy Quinn at a country festival in the Shetland Islands back in 2007, and Florence reminded me of a young Philomena Begley when she came out in her matching outfit and cowgirl boots, and their performance that night in the Lerwick theatre proved that Irish Country music is still alive and well!

They have covered some great songs particularly those by my dear friend the late Porter Wagnor with Dolly Parton as well as some of their favourite artists Meryle Haggard, Leona Williams and John Rex Reeves nephew of legend Jim. This album wouldn’t be complete without a song wrote by Florence (Take me home love me forever)… This album, no doubt, will be a must have with all good country fans!!!
